Tips for Using a Curling Wand
"- Always curl away from your face, at least for the pieces in front
- Heat setting is important. Putting it on the highest is not always the best solution, as it can make your curls come out frizzy and fried looking. Start with a setting near the middle and adjust slightly until you find the setting that creates the best curls on you.
- Make sure to keep your hair on the iron for long enough. If you have straight or wavy hair, a 2” section should take about 15-20 seconds. 10 seconds for pieces by your face and underneath. If you have very thick or curly hair, add another 10 seconds. Really count the time.
- If you have layers, curl them separately. If you need do, clip up the top layer and do the longer ones, then take your hair down one layer at a time. It makes a big difference.
- Curl your hair around the iron in a gradual downward spiral. There should be even spaces.
That’s all I can think of for now. Happy Curling"
